Magician Murray Sawchuck was a popular contestant on season 5 of 'America's Got Talent'

It’s hard to miss Murray Sawchuck with all that spiky blonde hair and the signature black glasses.

The Canadian born magician grew up in Burnaby, British Columbia, where he began  perfecting his tricks at the age of five.

In between he worked odd jobs.  21 of them, in fact, including busboy, bicycle repair person and lifeguard.  Still, there was time left over for dance lessons, saxophone and the accordion.  (The Accordion?!?)

Murray eventually earned a degree in Broadcast Communications and Journalism, with a minor in Business.  An American citizen (as of two years ago), he hopes to one day  perform a USO tour to say thank you to the country that he now calls home.
