Only four would survive the night and go on to the “America’s Got Talent” Finals next week. After Tuesday’s performances, there were no real surprises.

Team iLuminate, Silhouettes, POPLYFE and Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr. will compete next week for the $1 million grand prize.

Here’s how Wednesday night’s results show unfolded:

With the highest vote total for the season, Nick Cannon brought to the stage Smage Bros. Riding Team and Team ILuminate. Smage Bros. will be riding back to Wisconsin as Team ILuminate advanced. Howie said, “You’re the second most fun I can have in the dark. And I think there’s a good chance you’re gonna take this all the way.”

Miami All-Stars and Lys Agnés came to the stage next, however, neither of them advanced. They were both extremely gracious for the opportunity that AGT provided for them.

Continuing with the eliminations, Cannon called out POPLYFE and Landon Swank. Before the results were announce, Sharon Osbourne commented, “This is not the end. This is the beginning of your careers.” With less than a 1% difference in the vote totals, the kids from Oakland, POPLYFE will be heading to the finals.

Il Divo, a crossover classical operatic singing quartet who have sold 25 million albums performed a song from their upcoming CD “Wicked Game.”

Four contestants remained. Silhouettes and the West Springfield Dance Team came into the spotlights. America preferred creative shadows to gory dancing and Silhouettes became the third act to move on. Howie said, “You are so special, you are so unique, you should be proud of yourselves.”

That left Landau Eugene Murphy and Anna Graceman, a pairing we saw together on stage last week. However, there would be no last minute salvation from Nick Cannon tonight. The singers have become good friends and held hands as they came to the stage. America put the former car washer from Logan, West Virginia, Landau Eugene Murphy Jr., into the finals. Anna Graceman bid a tearful farewell, but said she was so happy for Landau.

His win was bittersweet because you could tell he really cared for Anna.

It’s do or die next week for all the acts. We can’t wait!
