Hate to say we told you so, but… it was the end of the line Tuesday night for opera standout Andrew De Leon.
The Goth teen who delighted millions with his incredible voice simply couldn’t over come a crucial mistake during the pre-taped Vegas Week episodes and was eliminated from AMERICA’S GOT TALENT.
“This was our hardest decision, our biggest fight,” judge Howie Mandel revealed before delivering the bad news. ”We wanted it to work. But it didn’t work. Andrew, you have a gift. I suggest you hone this gift. I am so sorry, Andrew. You are going home.”
The 19 year-old makeup artist took his fate in stride, saying simply: “Knowing it is the end of the experience for me is just killing me.”
But his millions of fans shouldn’t lose too much sleep over the elimination. Andrew could very likely return in late August for the judges’ “Wild Card” episodes.
