Plus sized pole dancer Lulu has found a new gig: judging dancers in a strip club!
The 252 pound mother of two – who did not advance to Vegas during her audition for AMERICA’S GOT TALENT – will be critiquing aspiring pole dancers Thursday night (June 14) during a competition at Scores Gentleman’s Club in Baltimore.
It is unknown if Lulu (real name : LuAyne Barber) will perform at the event, but she will be available to pose for photos and sign autographs after.
According to a press release:
The competition will start at 9pm. The Pole Dancers will be competing in “five” unique categories and several thousands of dollars in Prizes will be awarded.
The competition also coincides with the 200 year anniversary of the Star Spangled Banner. Baltimore will be hosting the Star-Spangled Sailabration this week.
Lulu – a former cheerleader who suffers Polycystic Ovary Syndrome – began pole dancing in 1996, shortly after the birth of her second child.
She has since joined the competitive pole dancing circuit.
“I am just your normal mom and wife who has a big dream and a big goal and that is to dance,” she told judges Sharon Osbourne, Howard Stern and Howie Mandel.
Stern wasn’t impressed: ”You gave it a shot. I hit my buzzer because I didn’t think it was a million dollar act,” he said.
Luckily, Lulu’s husband — plumber Will Brown, 29 — is.
‘Will loves my dancing,” she told Closer magazine last year. “I’ve always been curvy. I’m not going to let my weight stop me doing what I love.”
