Pole dancer Steven Retchless auditions in New York
“AGT” judges Piers Morgan and Sharon Osbourne are in a standoff over the fate of male pole dancer Steven Retchless.
Last week, Morgan told The New York Post that he was unlikely to vote the gay and fabulous New Yorker through in the competition because his act is “weird for guys to watch.”
That prompted Sharon – who has publicly embraced the gay community – to call Morgan’s comments “homophobic.”
““He is so bloody uptight! Piers is the type that probably wears stockings under his suit,” she told the paper. “It wouldn’t surprise me if he had suspenders and fishnets on.”
