David Hasselhoff has been tapped to judge the upcoming season of 'Britain's Got Talent'
David Hasselhoff already has a new gig. Just days after his A&E reality show “The Hasselhoffs” got axed (after one episode), the “Baywatch” heartthrob has been tapped to replace Piers Morgan on “Britain’s Got Talent”.
The Hoff, 57, was a member of the judges panel on “America’s Got Talent” for four seasons. He was replaced in 2010 by Howie Mandel.
Hasselhoff will be joined by longtime judge Amanda Holden and British comic Michael McIntyre, who takes over for Simon Cowell.
“Still chuckling over The Hoff and Michael McIntyre doing BGT,” Morgan tweeted. “Should I feel amused, furious, thrilled or suicidal that The Hoff is replacing me?” Superbly mischievous casting by Mr Cowell. Will be very very funny to watch.”
Cowell is expected to join the judging panel for the live episodes later in the spring.
