Tim Poe — America’s least favorite fake soldier — was officially eliminated from AMERICA’S GOT TALENT on Tuesday night.
In the episode taped in May (several weeks before the authenticity of his emotional backstory came into question) Poe performed a cover of George Strait‘s “The Chair” that simply failed to impress the judges.
“I don’t know that he holds up to other singers on the show,” Howie Mandel remarked after Poe left the stage.
Later, during eliminations, Sharon Osbourne delivered the final blow: ”The fact is, you won’t be going to New York.”
