Howard Stern is making good on his promise to squash Big Barry like a bug!
Tuesday night the freshman judge let it be known — again — that the four foot, 70 year-old lounge singer has no place on his stage.
It look no more than 5 second’s into Barry’s rendition of Michael Buble’s “Feeling Good” for the Stern to hit his buzzer. But after the performance, the gloves really came off.
The King of All Media aimed much of his wrath at fellow judge Howie Mandel — at one point demanding an apology for putting the Barry through in the first place.
“This is about the apology that you owe to Flo Jo’s daughter (Mary Joyner). To Andrew DeLeon. To all the people that could have gotten through instead of Big Barry. There were a ton of people who had more talent than Big Barry,” he said.
“Last week I made fun of a guy up on stage here who was playing instruments made with brooms. I owe him an apology because I was a little rough on him. But I will tell you what. Howie owes all those performers who has a shot up on this stage (an apology). Barry, no offense to you, but you are not fun, you are not funny and you are not talented.”
We enjoy a good laugh as much as anybody, but it seems unlikely that Big Barry will survive this round.
Tune in Wenesday at 9:00 PM to see what happens.
